Trickerion. It’s a game i keep going back to, whether to teach its big expansion Dahlgaard’s Acadenmy, one of its little expansions, or to livestream it on my birthday. Mindclash Games invited me to talk about the latest expansion, coming an incredible 10 years after the launch of the original, as part of an Anniversary Edition campaign. We had already been planning to play it, but this project gave my game group and i the excuse. We had a great time.
A Staying Power that’s Almost Magical
Mind you, time is what you’ll need to get through it. We were being a bit leisurely about it, but Trickerion with the new Arcane Arts expansion and Dahlgaard’s Academy added took us a not-insignificant 8 hours to get through! But as they say, time flies when you’re having fun, and it certainly didn’t feel like 8 hours.
